Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are an agreement between you and Sim Game Studio (“we”, “us”) for the Pocket Goal game and this website. By creating an account in the app or by using Pocket Goal, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

Pocket Goal is for adults. You may use it only if you are at least 18 years old and the law where you live allows you to use it. The account you play with is on a third-party platform, which may set further requirements for its accounts; those are between you and the third party.

What Pocket Goal is

Pocket Goal is a pixel-football goalkeeper arcade game for entertainment. Every match is played with virtual money on your account on the third-party platform. The third party decides the result of each shot, and the game shows it as a save, a goal conceded or a neutral result.

No match is played with real money. The game sells nothing and has no in-app purchases, payments, deposits, withdrawals or ads. Nothing won in the game can be withdrawn or exchanged for anything. The game’s own words, such as “goalkeeper fee”, “sponsor reward” and “club taxes”, are names for amounts of virtual money, not real charges or taxes.

Your account on the third-party platform

You play Pocket Goal with an account on the third-party platform: you sign in to it or create it in the app. The third-party platform is an independent company, not us. Its own terms and privacy policy govern your account. We do not control the third party or its service, and we are not responsible for it: its availability, the result it gives to each shot, its decisions about your account, or its records.

A registration made in the app is attributed to Pocket Goal’s partner campaign in the third party’s partner programme. The Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data.

You are responsible for your sign-in. Keep your password and any two-factor code private, and keep your phone locked. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password on the third-party platform and stop using the game on that phone until you have.

No financial advice

Pocket Goal is a game for entertainment. Nothing in it is financial or investment advice, and the results of a match played with virtual money say nothing about anything outside the game.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• cheat, or use bots, scripts or any other automation to play;
• reverse engineer, decompile or copy the game, except where the law lets you do so despite this term;
• overload, probe or attack our servers or the third party’s, or get around their security or limits;
• use someone else’s account without their permission;
• use the game or this website in any way that is unlawful or harms others.

Intellectual property

The game, including its code, its pixel art and its music, belongs to Sim Game Studio. The names and marks of the third party and AppsFlyer belong to those companies. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Pocket Goal on your own devices, under these Terms. We keep all rights that we do not expressly give you.

Availability and changes

The game depends on servers and services we do not control. When the connection to them is slow or lost, the game may not let you take a shot. The third-party platform decides the result of each shot and may refuse one. We may change the game, release updates, or suspend or stop the game or any part of it, and we do not promise that it will always work, work without errors or be available.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent the law allows, Pocket Goal is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise that results or any other information in the game are accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sim Game Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost profits or lost data, or for anything that arises from the third-party platform’s service or from your account on it. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid us for it, if any.

Nothing in these Terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing in them takes away the rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using Pocket Goal at any time. You can delete your Pocket Goal data from the app and uninstall it; the Delete Account page explains how. Doing so does not close your account on the third-party platform.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the law, or if we must do so to protect the game, our servers or other people.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the game after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms, unless the law requires another form of consent.
