Pocket Goal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

Who we are

Pocket Goal is a pixel-football goalkeeper arcade game for Android and iOS, made by Sim Game Studio (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what data the game and our website at simgamestudio.com handle, why, who receives it, and what you can do about it.

You play Pocket Goal with an account on a third-party platform. The third-party platform is an independent company and is not part of Sim Game Studio. We are responsible for how the game and our own servers (the partner server and the game server described below) handle your data. The third party and AppsFlyer decide for themselves how they handle the data they receive, under their own terms and privacy policies as well as this one.

We do not sell personal data, and the app shows no ads. The sections below give the detail.

Your account on the third-party platform

To play, you sign in with an account on the third-party platform or create one in the app. The third-party platform is an independent company, not us. Its own terms and privacy policy govern that account and everything it does with your data. We do not control the third party.

When you create an account or sign in, the app sends your email, your password and, when the third party asks for one, a two-factor code over HTTPS through our partner server to the third-party platform. Our partner server is the server that connects the app to the third party’s partner programme. It passes this on to create the account or sign you in, and for nothing else.

The email and password are also kept on your phone, in its secure storage (the Android Keystore, or the iOS Keychain), and are kept out of device backups. The app uses them to sign you in automatically the next time. Sign out and Delete Account in the app remove them from the phone.

A registration made in the app is attributed to Pocket Goal’s partner campaign in the third party’s partner programme. Under its partner terms, the third party may report to that programme that the account was registered, and statistics about it.

Playing the game

Every match in Pocket Goal is played with virtual money on your account on the third-party platform, which decides the result of each shot. Your shots reach it through our partner server.

No match is played with real money. The app sells nothing, has no in-app purchases, takes no payments, has no deposits or withdrawals, and shows no ads. Nothing won in the game can be withdrawn.

The third-party platform sends the account’s balances to the app, the real-money balance included. The app shows only the virtual-money balance and sends no balance anywhere else.

Connecting during a match

During a match the app stays connected to the game. Depending on how our partner server is set up at the time, that connection goes one of two ways:

  • To our own game server. The app asks our partner server for a short-lived token for the signed-in account. The token names your account id. The app gives the token to the game server, which also sees the IP address of the connection. Your email and password do not go to it.
  • Through a public page of the third party. The app opens that page in a hidden in-app browser view, at most once per launch. The third party then receives what any browser sends, such as your IP address and user agent, and the page keeps a guest id in that view’s storage on your phone. No account data, email or password goes to it.

Analytics and install attribution

The app uses AppsFlyer to learn which campaign brought an install and to measure and improve the game. Its privacy policy is at appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy. AppsFlyer collects:

  • the advertising ID, the Google Play install referrer, the device model, the operating-system version, the language and the IP address;
  • the app’s events: the steps of signing up or in and of a match (for example “match started” and “registration completed”), the result of each shot and the end of the match, each with a session id, the app version and the device platform;
  • the values of the game that go with those events, such as the league, the goalkeeper fee, the half of the goal you chose, the result of each shot and of the match in virtual money, saves, goals conceded, streak, durations and error codes.

After you sign in, your account id on the third-party platform is attached to these events as AppsFlyer’s customer user id, so an install can be matched to the account. Your email and password never go to AppsFlyer. The app does not use the app set ID.

The app has no switch for this in its settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in the phone’s settings. On Android, that is Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on the phone. Other phones have a similar control in their privacy settings. You can also object to this use of your data (see Your choices and rights).

Permissions

The app uses the advertising ID (AD_ID), the network state (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE), the Google Play install referrer and, on Samsung phones, READ_APP_INFO. All of these come from the AppsFlyer SDK. The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos or files, camera or microphone, and it never sees payment details.

What stays on your phone

  • the saved sign-in, in secure storage;
  • the match in progress, including a shot still in play, so a match survives a restart;
  • the game’s records: whether you have seen the club story and the first-match hint;
  • your settings: volumes, mute, haptics and reduced motion.

Sign out removes the saved sign-in. Delete Account removes the sign-in and the game’s records; the settings stay. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored, subject to the phone’s backup settings. The saved sign-in is never in a backup.

What we do not collect

Pocket Goal does not collect or use your location, contacts, photos or files, camera or microphone, or any card or payment details; the app has no payments at all. We do not sell personal data, and we do not show ads.

How long data is kept

  • On your phone: until you remove it, as described above.
  • At the third-party platform: under its own policy. Your account, balances and history are the third party’s.
  • At AppsFlyer: under AppsFlyer’s own policy. We can ask AppsFlyer to erase the attribution and event data linked to your account id and device (see Deleting your data).
  • On our servers: the partner server and the game server handle your requests to carry them out, as described in this policy. The game server’s token is short-lived.
  • If you write to us: we keep our correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your message, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Website logs: for a short period (see This website).

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
  • correct data that is wrong;
  • delete your data;
  • stop using your data for a purpose based on our legitimate interest, such as analytics and attribution (objection);
  • stop relying on your consent, where we rely on it.

Where your local law gives you further rights, you can use them too. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work.

To use a right, write to support@simgamestudio.com from the email address of your account on the third-party platform and say what you want. We may ask for what we need to confirm that the account is yours. We answer within 30 days. For the data that the third party and AppsFlyer hold, you can also contact them directly.

Do not send your password or a two-factor code to us, ever.

Deleting your data

You can delete your Pocket Goal data on your phone from the app: ⚙ Settings → Delete Account. If you cannot use the app, or you want your analytics and attribution data at AppsFlyer erased, you can ask us by email. The steps, and what each route covers, are on the Delete Account page. Deleting Pocket Goal data does not delete your account on the third-party platform.

Security

The app talks to our servers and to the third-party platform over HTTPS, and keeps your saved sign-in in your phone’s secure storage, out of backups. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so keep your phone locked and your password private.

Processing in other countries

Data may be processed outside your country by AppsFlyer and the third party. Those countries may have data-protection rules that differ from yours.

Children

Pocket Goal is for people aged 18 and over only. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that a child’s data has reached us, we delete it.

This website

simgamestudio.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, time and page) for security, for a short period. The links on these pages to AppsFlyer lead to a site we do not run.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game, our practices or the law change. We post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change needs your consent, or the law requires us to tell you about it, we will do that.
